“Life Vegetates”
I thought of this the other day. Life has a way of making every day the best thing in the world or the worst thing. (right now your probably wondering, so much for the wood working huh spence.. haha, sorry, but as you know this is my third quote I’ve posted and they help add a little).
Life Vegetates. I thought of this (and its two meanings) one night. We know the word Vegetate as being referred to growing or eating. We can then make the assumption that this quote is meant to be said in good terms. Life helps us grow. We grow by filling our body with nutrients obtained from food. Any food. Ok, so it’s best to eat healthy food. haha. Thats my nutritional education for the day. ; ) We grow by meeting people, by experiencing things and living openly. Life gives us the chance to explore as much as we want. It’s up to us on whether or not we want to pursue that.
Life vegetates. I feel it has a negative meaning too. We can think of the word Vegetates again by eating; destroying something else. No, this isn’t my negativity. It just caught my attention as I began pondering the meaningfulness of these words adjoined. So, maybe, in the context of negativity, Life has a way of eating itself. In a matter such as self-destruction.
In the end, these words are dependent upon how the individual interprets them. The individual, You. The reader. You know, this is similar to the optimistic/pessimistic test of whether or not the glass is half full or half empty. Think of my quote and how you interpret it to yourself. Maybe a change needs to happen.
This is in no way meant to hurt anyone. Just a little philosophy. : )
Best Regards,
