Coffee Table
This page is about my latest coffee table. Made of Wenge, Paduak, Teak, Mahogany, and Curly Maple, this table took several months to complete. Designed by myself, this table has a very modern appearance and is now completely finished. Below are some pictures of my progress over the past few months.

The unfinished table top. You can sort of see the small pieces (the lighter color) ones. They are all individually glued in there. This took me FOREVER and as you can tell not quite finished. The final shape is not rectangular, in fact, I brought it home this weekend and worked on it a little.

Edges are cut to final shape

This picture below is a close up of the Curly Maple boarder around the top. You'll notice the little ripples in the wood. When light refracts off of the wood, the "curl" in the curly maple is very noticeable.

Spence – It truly is beautiful in our family room. Did you notice I put some of your bowls on the bottom glass shelf? It took awhile to finish it just the way you wanted, but it was well worth the wait. I told dad yesterday we’ll have to have a party now to show it off to all of our friends!! P.S. Grandpa would be sooooooo proud!
